Rail transit will get us from here to there faster, enhancing our quality of life.

NBC News recently reported that H-1 was the most congested highway in the nation. During morning rush hour, it can sometimes take between 90 minutes to 2 hours to travel from Kapolei to downtown Honolulu. Rail transit riders will travel from East Kapolei to Ala Moana Center in 42 minutes. That means more free time to spend with friends and family.
Riding trains will reduce traffic congestion.

One 300-passenger train can relieve the highway of more than 200 cars every three minutes during morning rush hour. By 2030, rail transit is expected to attract about 116,000 riders daily.
